Immediate opportunity for an EXPERIENCED Service Advisor who will work in the office and assist with the customers.  Write up trucks, explain repairs to customers, and update customers with repairs and status changes to their trucks. Responsible for all activities related to administration of service operations to assure efficient and accurate processing and maintenance of customer records and service literature. Responsible for greeting service customers, opening repair orders, and assisting the Service Manager with any matters related to customer service and office administration.


Include maintaining complete and accurate customer service records, customer equipment records on computer systems, repair order processing, and greeting customers coming in for service work. Responsible for recording problems with trucks and opening repair orders, also determining if warranty may apply. Advising customers of any warranty issues. Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics when trucks arrive. Advise customers of any additional work that is recommended while their truck is in the shop, including product improvement campaigns, safety and performance improvement recommendations. Note recommendations in comment section of repair order. Contact customer concerning disposition and progress of repair work and inform of any changes in commitment time or additional work needed. Enter technician’s write-up on repair orders, which includes condition, cause, and correction. Assist Service Manager with flat rate, closing, and posting repair orders. Answer phone calls to service. Help customers wherever possible.

Must have excellent people skills. Must have basic computer skills. Must have basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge. Factory certification in warranty administration.
